This blog is an extension of the ideas presented in my book (Haiku Notebook Second Edition, smashwords.com, 2010). It is intended to be a forum for discussing haiku and haibun. My hope as an educator is to stimulate interest in writing these forms. So, please feel free to post. [NOTE: click "comments" to read poems by other poets, as well as discussion]. Another very strong Haiku, Bill.
One imagines the leaves being, themselves, like covers, but for a very different end.
By the way, can I post this haiku, and the previous one, on my blog with a link? There's also a haiku I would like to print from Crows & Daisies...
thank you very much patrick.

me & my blog. i'm honored.

Hi Bill,
I just published your Haiku alongside another blogger's Haiga, whom I admire. If there is anything you would like me to add, in terms of linking to your blog, let me know.
thanks patrick!
