fireworks uncle mack mutters tet

july 4th every flag sewn in china

flyball
flashing white to blue to red
the northern lights

independence day
the sound of flags fluttering
at Arlington

bottle rockets
memories arise
in technicolor

independence day
the dulled point of father's
foxhole shovel
